Jeremiah began his work as a man of GOD in 626 BCE as the Chaldeans had reigned hell upon the lost promised land for the past 24 years or so, for this is after II Chronicles 36.16. Jeremiah would see the coming of Nebuchadnezzar in 25 years, who would let him go free to roam the wilderness of what had been lost and destroyed some 13 years after that.
In this JOG it becomes a necessity. Because I primarily use my paper tanakh (mpt jps tanakh blue) I will use that for the surrounding verses 9.3, 4, _, 6, 7.
Jeremiah 9: [3] Beware, every man of his friend! Trust not even a brother! For every brother takes advantage, every friend (a-)is base in his dealings,(-a) [4] One man cheats the other, they will not speak truth; they have trained their tongues to speak falsely; (b-)they wear themselves out working iniquity. [5] You dwell in the midst of deceit. In their deceit,(-b) they refuse to heed ME —- DECLARES THE LORD. [6] Assuredly, thus said the LORD of Hosts: LO, I shall smelt and assay them —- (b-)For what else can I DO because of MY poor people?(-b) [7] Their tongue is a sharpened arrow, they use their mouths to deceive. One speaks to his fellow in friendship, but lays an ambush for him in his heart.

Here again, it is noted that the verse numbering does not even align from version to version. 9.5 in the first three is 9.4 in my paper tanakh. Thus again the importance to study multiple versions and the verses around it, and in whole, always working in the SPIRIT OF GOD to understanding HIS WISDOM in the WORD closest to the original.
Also here again we see that the translators of the jps tanakh blue don’t understand and/or don’t clearly understand the meaning of the Hebrew Text. So how can any version of the WORD OF GOD be called “holy” ???
What does it mean for something to be full of holes ??? do an internet search of “word for full of holes”. Get together with other children of GOD and discuss.
Thus only in the SPIRIT OF GOD to GOD THROUGH GOD can we be led one on ONE to HIS W.H.A.T. !!!!!!!
Also as mentioned before, Jeremiah’s prophecy applies to both then and now.
So lets contemplate on the here and now looking at Jeremiah 9.3-7 !!!!!
Contemplation:
1. Who is a true friend to you ? Only GOD !!!!!!!
2. Trust not even a brother ?
3. Can you Wholly Holy Absolutely Trust the ones next to you as you congregate in your religion ?
4. Can you trust in those who are not in your religion ?
5. “they will not speak truth” [men of religion – foreigners to GOD]
6. “they have trained their tongues to speak falsely” [leaders of religion – foreigners to GOD & HIS SPIRIT !!!]
7. Look, today at this New World War of religion: “they wear themselves out working iniquity” !!!! Iniquity – immoral or grossly unfair behavior !!!
8. How many children of GOD have been slaughtered on all sides since the turn of the millennium ???
9. “You dwell in the midst of deceit” !!!! salacious satan sits silently and revels in his hidden place on how his religious servants decieve & slaughter GOD’S children.
10. “They, use their mouths to deceive.” Many claim they worship the same god !!! Many more claim their god is GOD !!!
11. “One speaks to his fellow in friendship” Democrats to the rest of the world and religions.
12. “but lays an ambush for him in his heart.” As they together attempt to absorb our United States of America & Republic for which it Stands into a New One World Government & Order.
13. We need to return to our Foundation GOD without religion, and our Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, and our Bill of Rights} and build the New Jerusalem, not be the New Babylon !!!!
14. Reject, vote against, the politicians that reject, want to destroy, our Republic !!!! Every one of them in Congress today, and all those who won’t stand strictly with our Three Founding Documents and let we the people decide what we want it to say.
